Everything the Artemis II crew did was poetry

As the Artemis II crew successfully returned to Earth, one of the heartwarming parts of their journey was the crew suggesting one of the moon craters be named Carroll after the commander Reid Wiseman‘s wife, who sadly passed away in 2020. People are saying, “He literally loved her to the moon and back.” But I remembered one of my songs that I wrote in 2017. The song’s name is “If You Are Mine.” I will put down that specific verse below, translated into English.

If you are mine I will enjoy your scent every night
With your scent I will submerge this city with flowers
I will bring down from the heavens the star you heart desires
To comb your hair and tie your plaits
I will sing the melody of any bird you surprised of
I will recite poetry of the poet you crave
With leaves from trees I will play you tunes
I will carry you to the throne of the moon and rock you
